Encryption Enabled by Default on All Lansen Devices

At Lansen Systems AB, we are committed to delivering products that are not only innovative but also meet the highest standards of security and regulatory compliance. To further strengthen data protection and unauthorized configuration changes, all Gateways, Repeaters, Bridges, and Converters we deliver will now have encryption enabled by default.
What’s Changing
- Encryption by Default: All new Lansen devices will ship with encryption already activated.
- Unique AES Keys: Each device is equipped with a unique AES encryption key. These keys are securely stored and easily accessible through our encryption management platform, LansenOnline.
Why This Update Matters
The revised Radio Equipment Directive (RED) now includes requirements to protect network resources. By enabling encryption by default, we ensure that our solutions remain secure, compliant, and ready to meet evolving industry standards.
What You Need to Do
When installing new devices, you must use the AES key if you need to configure them.
- Access and manage these keys via LansenOnline.
- Visit our website or contact our support team for guidance on using the platform.
